Our Mission
The Health Initiatives program of Westside Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to promoting wellness, awareness, and preventive care throughout the West Iberville community. Our mission is to make vital health resources accessible, engaging, and actionable for everyone, helping individuals take charge of their well-being.
Through dynamic programs such as blood drives, HIV and STD awareness campaigns, and Prevention on the Go sessions, we bring important health education directly to the community. We also host life-saving screenings for breast and prostate cancer, ensuring residents have the opportunity to detect potential issues early and receive guidance on next steps.
Health Initiatives is more than just education—it’s empowerment. By equipping community members with knowledge, access to screenings, and practical resources, we break down barriers to care and inspire proactive health choices. For residents, this program is a lifeline of support and information.
